Job Description

This role involves supporting the production team in daily operations and strategic projects, analyzing and defining infrastructural requirements across the production chain, and optimizing workflows with Product Owners. You will manage and develop broadcast-relevant tools, coordinate external providers, and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and system providers. The ideal candidate has a degree or training in media technology or IT, at least two years of experience in sports media or broadcast, and a strong understanding of IT and cloud infrastructures. You should be able to manage multiple projects, possess analytical and problem-solving skills, and be a proactive team player passionate about innovative digital production processes.
Must have:
  • Support the production team in daily business and strategic projects.
  • Analyze, prioritize, and define infrastructural requirements along the entire production chain.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners and other departments to optimize processes and system integrations.
  • Manage and continuously develop broadcast-relevant tools (playout systems, post-production systems, planning tools, data integrations).
  • Accompany the creation of automated game graphics for host productions.
  • Coordinate external providers and service managers.
  • Manage interfaces between internal stakeholders, especially editorial and Product & Technology.
  • Act as a link between system providers, technical teams, and editorial requirements.
  • Support the integration of new technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI, automation).
  • Completed studies or training in media technology, computer science, production technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least two years of professional experience in a comparable position within the sports media value chain or a broadcast company.
  • Experience in broadcast and streaming technologies.
  • Very good understanding of IT and cloud infrastructures.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
  • Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • Structured work and strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Team player with a hands-on mentality and high self-initiative.
  • Enthusiasm for innovative systems, AI technologies, and the development of digital production processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • You support the production team in daily business as well as in strategic projects.
  • You analyze, prioritize, and define infrastructural requirements along the entire production chain.
  • You work closely with Product Owners and other departments to optimize processes and system integrations.
  • You manage broadcast-relevant tools (playout systems, post-production systems, planning tools, data integrations) and continuously develop them.
  • You accompany the creation of automated game graphics within the framework of host productions for various leagues.
  • You coordinate external providers and service managers.
  • You are responsible for interface management between internal stakeholders, especially editorial and Product & Technology.
  • You act as a link between system providers, technical teams, and editorial requirements.
  • You support the integration of new technologies (e.g., Cloud, AI, automation).

What You Bring

  • You have completed studies or training in media technology, computer science, production technology, or a comparable qualification.
  • You bring at least two years of professional experience in a comparable position within the sports media value chain or in a broadcast company.
  • You have experience in broadcast and streaming technologies and a very good understanding of IT and cloud infrastructures.
  • Ideally, you already have experience with live productions (e.g., streaming, Twitch).
  • You are able to manage multiple projects in parallel and convince with analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
  • You work in a structured way and are characterized by strong organizational and communication skills.
  • You are a team player with a hands-on mentality and high self-initiative.
  • You are enthusiastic about innovative systems, AI technologies, and the further development of digital production processes.
