Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex systems and technological solutions related to rendering within Techland's proprietary engine, which supports all Techland products across all consoles. This involves utilizing C++ knowledge, mathematics (geometry, algebra), and understanding of algorithms used in game programming, particularly in graphics programming such as shadows, blur, and HDR. The role requires proficiency in graphics APIs and shader programming, alongside the ability to read and understand existing codebases and a passion for game development.
Good To Have:
  • Previous experience as rendering or graphics programmer.
Must Have:
  • Very good knowledge of C++.
  • Proficiency in mathematics and knowledge of game algorithms.
  • Knowledge of game programming topics like multi-threading and debugging.
  • Knowledge of graphics APIs and shader programming languages.
  • Ability to read and understand an existing codebase.
  • Passion for creating games.
  • Good command of English.

Job Description

The main task of this position is to support the design, implementation and maintenance of complex systems and technological solutions related to rendering in Techland's proprietary engine. Our technology supports all Techland products on all consoles.

Qualifications

  • Very good  knowledge of C++.
  • Proficiency in mathematics (geometry, algebra) and knowledge of algorithms used in computer games.
  • Knowledge of topics related to game programming (e.g. multi-threading, debugging, profiling) and in particular related to graphics programming (effects, e.g. shadows, blur, HDR or deferred rendering).
  • Knowledge of  graphics API (e.g. DirectX, Vulkan) and shader programming languages (e.g. HLSL).
  • Knowledge of basic tools used in graphics programming (e.g. RenderDoc).
  • Proficiency in mathematics (geometry, algebra) and knowledge of algorithms used in computer games.
  • Ability to read and understand an existing codebase.
  • Passion for creating games.
  • Proactivity and initiative to solve problems without waiting for detailed instructions.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change.
  • Determination and persistence when facing obstacles.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop your skills.
  • Very good communication and collaboration skills.
  • Good command of English.
