Job Description

The Labor Relations Coordinator will actively engage in union negotiations, ensuring collective agreements and compliance with labor laws. This role involves analyzing labor legislation, managing PPR indicators, and providing guidance to internal stakeholders on labor issues. Responsibilities also include managing legal quotas, disciplinary measures, and supporting conflict resolution. The coordinator will develop labor policies, provide audit support, and assess legislative impacts, contributing to a safe work environment.
Must have:
  • Participate in union negotiations for collective agreements.
  • Perform labor analyses based on legislation.
  • Manage PPR indicators in compliance with laws.
  • Provide guidance on labor issues to managers.
  • Manage data for legal quotas (PWDs, Apprentices).
  • Guide on legislation for leave cases.
  • Manage disciplinary measures.
  • Monitor labor indicators and prepare reports.
  • Support internal clients in conflict resolution.
  • Develop labor relations policies and procedures.
  • Provide technical labor support during audits.
  • Evaluate impacts of labor law changes.
  • Collaborate on Safety, Quality, Cost, and Time initiatives.
Good to have:
  • Post-Graduation or MBA in Human Resources Management or Labor Relations.
  • Intermediate Spanish.

Job Details

  • Actively participate in negotiations with unions to ensure collective agreements
  • Perform general labor analyses, based on the interpretation of labor legislation
  • Monitor, update, and manage PPR indicators, ensuring compliance with market practices and labor laws
  • Participate in strategic meetings to provide guidance to managers and employees on labor issues, promoting understanding and compliance with company policies
  • Analyze, prepare, and manage data/information on legal quotas for PWDs, Apprentices, and similar
  • Analyze and guide managers and employees on the premises of legislation in cases of leave
  • Analyze, prepare, and manage disciplinary measures
  • Monitor labor indicators, prepare analyses and reports according to management guidelines
  • Serve internal clients to support the resolution of conflicts related to labor issues
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to labor relations
  • Provide technical labor support during internal or external audits
  • Evaluate and communicate the impacts of changes in labor legislation on the work environment and company practices
  • Collaborate with the progress of Safety, Quality, Cost, and Time topics to support process improvement opportunities and the creation of a safe work environment, promoting the company's safety culture and good practices.

Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Leadership and team development
  • Effective communication and alignment between areas
  • Experience in union negotiation

Experience:

  • Functional experience in HR and labor relations in the industry (automotive preferred)
  • Experience in positions directly involved in labor relations topics.

Education:

  • Graduation in Administration, Law, or related areas.
  • Post-Graduation or MBA in Human Resources Management or Labor Relations. (desirable)

Languages:

  • Advanced English
  • Intermediate Spanish desirable
