Job Objective:
The laboratory technician must ensure compliance with GMP regulations, corporate policies, and compliance standards during operations. They are responsible for laboratory support activities such as maintaining inventory of standards and reagents, laboratory organization, equipment cleanliness, and all other tasks to support the laboratory.
Main Responsibilities:
This position will give you the opportunity to lead key activities to advance YOUR career as a Technician. These responsibilities include some of the following tasks:
- Perform activities related to ordering and receiving reagents, standards, and laboratory supplies for Quality Control;
- Perform laboratory support tasks (e.g., inventory, cleaning, etc.);
- Participate in the printing and reconciliation of controlled documents;
- Work as a team to ensure that tasks are completed within prescribed deadlines, while maintaining a high level of quality;
- Lift loads up to 40lbs (18kg);
- Ensure the management of routine, stability, and reserve samples for Quality Control laboratories.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma;
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills;
- Priority management, good rigor, meticulous;
- Good adaptability;
- Leadership skills, positive attitude;
- Who likes to move;
- Understanding of pharmaceutical processes;
- Good computer skills (Proficiency in Office suite: Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.);
- Concern for health/safety in a laboratory environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 to 2 years of experience in health, pharmaceutical (asset), food, or other fields;
- Knowledge of laboratory operations;
- Science studies (asset).
