Job Description
The role of a Lead BI Engineer involves developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and Qlik (QlikView/Qlik Sense) to support business decision-making. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating them into effective data visualizations, and optimizing data models for high performance across large datasets. The engineer will integrate data from various sources like SQL, Excel, and APIs, perform data validation, and troubleshoot for accuracy. Responsibilities also include automating reporting processes, creating reusable templates, and providing end-user training and support for dashboard usage and self-service analytics. Staying updated with BI best practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting standards is also key.
