Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Community Manager for an unannounced AAA game project. You will be responsible for sharing the team's vision with players, tracking community trends, and providing feedback to the development team. This role involves advocating for players' opinions, leading a global team of external moderators, and building relationships with content creators and influencers. You will also work closely with internal teams and external partners to enhance community engagement and plan community marketing strategies. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of community management experience in the gaming industry, proven leadership skills, excellent English communication, and experience managing large, live-ops global gaming communities. A passion for shooter games and the ability to handle difficult community situations professionally are essential.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of community management in gaming

Reports to

Live Ops Director

What will you do?

  • Share the team's vision with players and ensure they understand it.
  • Track community trends and provide valuable feedback to the team.
  • Advocate for players’ opinions and concerns within the team and the company.
  • Lead and manage a global team of external moderators.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with content creators and influencers.
  • Offer player-driven feedback to help shape the game’s development and design.
  • Work closely with other internal teams and external partners to enhance community engagement.
  • Plan and execute exciting community marketing strategies that keep players engaged.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of professional community management experience in the gaming industry.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring other community managers or moderators; ability to set direction and support team growth.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills (native or near-native English proficiency).
  • Experience managing large live ops global gaming communities.
  • Passion for shooter games and gaming in general.
  • Skilled at handling tough situations within the community with care and professionalism.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and working with content creators.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions without constant supervision.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

  • Comfortable being on camera and interacting with players online and in person.
  • Experience with social media management and business intelligence tools.
  • Knowledge of other marketing disciplines or content creation.
  • Interest or experience in Esports.

Work mode

  • Hybrid (This role is not eligible for remote work)
