Sabre is seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to support the maintenance and development of Sabre Low Level APIs, a critical connectivity system used by majority of Sabre Airline and Agency customers.

At Sabre, we’re passionate about building software that solves problems. In this role you will plan, design, develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

“Must have” skills:

• Java 8 (at least)
• SOAP webservices and accompanying technologies
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security
• Development of multithreaded applications
• Git (GitHub)
• Linux
• Cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform
• GC; experience with performance tests
• Analytical thinking
• Proactivity in doing right things & continuous improvement
• Great engagement and ability to learn
• Strong team player - capable of working independently and with others
• Communicative English

“Nice to have” skills:

• RESTful webservices and accompanying technologies
• Docker, Kubernetes & Terraform
• Github Actions
• Knowledge of internal Sabre systems
