LIHTC Leasing Consultant (30027)
Job Description
- Process and maintain accurate resident files
- Collaborate with Property Manager and maintenance team
- Process re-certifications and renewals promptly
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Assist applicants with the application process
- Create and update the wait list
- Complete assigned daily, weekly, or monthly reports
- Assist residents with work orders and issues
- Complete move-in walk throughs with new residents
- Minimum 1 year of high-paced customer service experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of LIHTC programs
- Strong attention to detail
- Understanding of state landlord-tenant and Fair Housing laws
- Proficiency in Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
- Ability to work well under pressure with a positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills

Job Description
General functions of the Tax Credit leasing Agent:
- Processes and maintains accurate resident files
- Works closely with the Property Manager and maintenance team to ensure quality work is completed
- Processes re-certifications and renewals on time
- Ensures that all applicants and residents are in compliance with government regulations
- Assists applicant with the application process
- Creates and updates the wait list
- Completes any daily, weekly, or monthly reports assigned by Property Manager
- Assists residents with work orders or any issues they are having in their home
- Completes move-in walk through with new residents
Qualifications
- 1+ years of customer service experience in a high paced environment - Required
- Excellent customer service: someone who can navigate all types of situations
- Knowledge of LIHTC programs
- Attention to detail
- Understands and complies with state landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing laws
- Knowledge of Excel, Word Document, and Outlook
- Works well under pressure and maintains a positive friendly attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Additional Information
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
