Job Description
TelevisaUnivision is seeking an experienced Line Producer to support news shows. The role involves managing the line production of a daily show, assisting the executive producer with production and team management, and contributing editorially. Responsibilities include daily rundown management, story placement, editorial input, writing, executing live show timing in the control room, making last-minute decisions, developing and producing daily news graphics, reacting to breaking news, working on special news coverage, field coordination, and maintaining communication with various teams. The candidate must be able to back-time shows and adjust rundowns during live broadcasts.
Must Have:
- Experience in Journalism or Communications
- Minimum 5 years of experience line producing/producing
- Knowledge of current events
- News writing skills
- Experience with social media platforms
- Attention to detail and strong communication
- Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Fully bilingual English and Spanish
- Excellent Spanish grammar
- Authorized to work in the United States full-time
ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:

YOUR DAY-DAY
- Responsible for daily rundown, story placement, editorial input and writing.
- Executing timing of live shows in control room and making last minute decisions.
- Development and production of daily news graphics.
- Quick reaction to breaking news and possible show news updates
- Work on special news coverage and field coordination.
- Maintain communication with assignment desk, production and technical crews.
- Must be able to back-time show, adjust rundowns effortlessly while on air
YOU HAVE
- Experience in Journalism or Communications.
