The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing sales strategies and achieving sales results within a designated industry or territory. This role involves managing team efforts in direct-led and indirect deals by leveraging partners and growing sales through channels to meet customer needs. The manager plans and directs all sales activities, including forecasting, pipeline management, policy implementation, and sales force talent development. They foster a team culture aligned with Autodesk's values, encourage cross-organizational collaboration, and engage appropriate internal resources. Key responsibilities include setting short- and long-term goals and quotas, generating new business, developing customer relationships, and executing strong business practices. The position reports to the Regional Manager for Emerging Business Construction Sales and is fully remote.
Must have:
  • 3+ years of SaaS Sales Leadership experience
  • Proven record of exceeding quota and revenue goals
  • Experience in both transactional and enterprise sales

Position Overview The District Sales Manager is responsible for implementing the sales strategies and for the sales results of an industry or territory. They manage team efforts in direct-led and indirect deals by leveraging partners and growing sales for the assigned sector or territory through the channel to fulfill customer needs. They plan and direct all sales activities, including planning, managing forecasts, building the pipeline, building on policies, and staffing and talent development of the sales force. The Direct Sales Manager promotes a team culture that embraces Autodesk's values, collaborates across organizations, and engages appropriate internal resources from Autodesk. They establish short- and long-term goals and quotas that align with corporate objectives, generate new business, develop and maintain customer relationships, and execute strong business practices. The District Manager will report to the Regional Manager for Emerging Business Construction Sales. This role is fully remote. Responsibilities Hire, train, and lead a team of 5 - 7 Account Executives (quota-carrying, outside sales reps) in your territory Work with your team to lead bigger enterprise deals and lead them across the finish line Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position our range of solutions effectively Guide your team in identifying "white space" in current accounts that have one ACS product to position and sell the rest of our product portfolio Help your team manage and qualify leads and pipeline with accurate responses and forecast Ensure CRM tools and Autodesk ACS methodologies are used to process and track opportunities Provide guidance and help coordinate your team's efforts with Business Development Reps and Product Specialists, who will have a "dotted-line" reporting relationship to you Minimum Qualifications At least 3 or more years of SaaS Sales Leadership experience Experience exceeding quota and revenue goals Both transactional and enterprise sales experience The Ideal Candidate You have experience establishing communication and engagement with team members You quickly establish relationships with people and establish value You care about and contribute to a collaborative work environment
