Job Description

Razorfish is seeking a Manager, Data and Analysis to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This role involves delivering data-driven insights to clients, focusing on measurement planning, customer segmentations, testing frameworks, and performance analysis. The manager will act as a paid media subject matter expert, manage client projects, collaborate cross-functionally, lead client readouts, and apply strategic thinking to elevate marketing goals. Responsibilities include executing data pulls, creating process flow diagrams, and contributing to internal and client discussions, leveraging strong analytical and presentation skills.
Must Have:

Overview

Razorfish is looking for a manager to join its Data Science and Analytics practice. This is an analytics and research team that delivers data-driven insights to our clients.The team is aligned to one client with differents lines of business and works closely with other Data Science team members, our clients, and colleagues across other disciplines such as: Client Management, Strategy, Search, Social, Media, User Experience, and Technology.

In this role you will contribute to data-driven projects across a client account. You will have support from data leadership and fellow analysts.

Core areas of focus include applications in measurement planning and strategy, customer segmentations, testing frameworks, measurement and optimization solutions, performance reporting and analyses, personalization, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the paid media subject matter expert - provide strategic input, in-depth performance analysis
  • Manage the end-to-end process for data internal and external client project work
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with media planners, strategists, and activation teams
  • Lead client readouts, define requirements and implementation of data tools and products
  • Identify key issues and objectives to focus on for internal and client needs with minimal oversight
  • Apply strategic thinking to elevate client's marketing goals and data sophistication
  • Contribute in internal and client discussions, having synthesized input and feedback
  • Prepare internal and client presentations/ outlines
  • Build client documents from scratch with little reliance on templates and minimal oversight
  • Act as day-to-day internal data resource
  • Document and respond to client feedback, rising issues as needed
  • Avidly question output and reflect on client's business - financials, industry, economics, competitive dynamic, marketing channels, strategic issues
  • Execute frequent ad hoc and recurring data pulls to support ongoing business needs, creative testing, and campaign optimization
  • For complex requirements, create process flow diagrams, sample data schemas, analysis plans & matrices, to facilitate understanding and agreement on the proposed solution and requirements

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in analytics or strategy with an advertising agency, management consulting company, or ad tech company
  • Proficiency in Excel and Tableau; experience with Google Campaign Manager and social platform data tool
  • Experience building and working within BI/Visualizations tools (Excel, Tableau, and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with modern statistical learning methods (regression techniques, classification models, supervised and unsupervised learning, etc.)
  • Familiarity with digital technology such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, email marketing, digital paid media (display, video, social, search), marketing automation, native apps, and programmatic media
  • Ability to demonstrate marketing business acumen and how the data services fit into client strategies and objectives
  • Ability to supply appropriate responses to questions that are vague or not directly related to what is being presented
  • Ability to confidently offer ideas, suggestions and reflect mastery of tasks and work
  • Experience with Presentation Tools (PPT, Google Slides) - and ability to transform data into visually appealing presentations emphasizing storytelling
  • Ability to synthesize implications from analysis and refine approach

Compensation Range: $66/hr - $86/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
