Join Aptiv to work on cutting-edge applications, develop breakthrough technologies, and deliver innovative solutions in automotive. This role is within the Process/Industrial Engineering team, focusing on integrating Lean Principles into new product launches and continuous improvement. You will support 'Product Line' products, define manufacturing standards, manage compliance, provide training, and optimize material flow and floorspace across AS&UX plants globally, contributing to a more competitive Aptiv Manufacturing System.
Must Have:- Support "Product Line" products and manage series production.
- Provide engineering support and training during MQ2.
- Define manufacturing standards (Workplace Organization, material delivery, Kanban, Visual system, Buffer planning).
- Establish Industrial Engineering KPIs (routing, line balancing, equipment utilization, changeover).
- Implement and manage manufacturing standards across AS&UX plants.
- Provide onsite/virtual training to Engineers, Maintenance, Operations.
- Optimize material flow, inventory, internal package calculation, and floorspace.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing.
- Deep skills in TPS, Lean concepts, flow manufacturing, material movement.
- Ability to summarize standards and conduct training.
- Enjoys Gemba observation and kaizen activities.
- Good influence skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel for workshops or equipment validation.
