Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and driven Business Development Lead to spearhead market efforts in the High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. This role is pivotal in aligning customer accounts with the company's HPC strategy and driving growth across federal and commercial sectors. The role requires a technically skilled professional with hands-on experience implementing AI solutions atop HPC environments, understanding scalable AI architectures, parallel processing, and optimization techniques for mission-critical workloads.
Must have:
  • Lead business development initiatives for HPC, identifying growth opportunities and shaping go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate with account managers to align customer engagements with the company's HPC vision and roadmap.
  • Interface with internal stakeholders across the three pillars-Products, Foundry, and Research and Development-to ensure cohesive execution and innovation.
  • Partner with the Government Affairs team to influence policy and shape activities on Capitol Hill that support HPC initiatives.
  • Act as a voice of the customer, translating mission needs into actionable technology strategies.
  • Drive pipeline creation and qualification, leveraging deep domain knowledge and strategic insight.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging executive-level audiences and government entities.
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • 10 years experience in business development or strategic account management within HPC, advanced computing, or federal technology sectors.
  • 10 years experience in HPC ecosystem, including compute architectures, foundry capabilities, and research innovation.
  • Hands-on experience implementing artificial intelligence solutions atop high-performance computing environments.
  • Strong understanding of scalable AI architectures, parallel processing, and optimization techniques for mission-critical workloads.
Good to have:
  • Active U.S. government security clearance.
  • Experience working with federal agencies, national labs, or defense-related HPC programs.
  • Familiarity with policy advocacy and legislative engagement.
  • Experience with governance and proposal development methodologies such as Shipley.
  • Knowledge of global sovereign AI initiatives and their implications for HPC strategy.
  • Technical background in engineering, computer science, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with the principles and priorities outlined in America’s AI Action Plan.

This technically skilled professional witl need hands-on experience implementing artificial intelligence solutions atop high-performance computing environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of scalable AI architectures, parallel processing, and optimization techniques for mission-critical workloads. Familiarity with the principles and priorities outlined in America’s AI Action Plan—including AI infrastructure, interpretability, and national security applications—is a significant plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Leadership: Lead business development initiatives for HPC, identifying growth opportunities and shaping go-to-market strategies.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$332,490.00-$469,390.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. However, you must live and work from the country specified in the job posting, in which Intel has a legal presence.
