Job Description

The Marketing Manager - Brand Management at Axel Springer's AUTO BILD group will act as a central interface for strategic and operational questions regarding AUTO BILD's positioning, products, and marketing. Responsibilities include creating cross-platform marketing campaigns, conducting market and competitor analyses, developing sales materials, and supporting sales collaboration. The role also involves proactive marketing of editorial content and optimizing digital products. The AUTO BILD group is Germany's largest automotive media brand, reaching over 10 million people monthly, and is a central platform for mobility in Germany.
Must have:
  • Act as a central interface and primary contact person for all strategic and operational questions related to the positioning, products, and marketing of AUTO BILD.
  • Create cross-platform and cross-brand marketing measures and media cooperations.
  • Monitor the market and continuously conduct competitor analyses for brand positioning in the advertising market.
  • Draft and update sales documents, marketing concepts, and define target customers.
  • Support collaboration and coordination with the Sales department for successful AUTO BILD marketing.
  • Create reports and analyses on offers, orders, and revenues, and evaluate their usage and success.
  • Proactively market editorial content and support the development and optimization of innovative digital products and content.
  • Be a marketing enthusiast with knowledge in digital advertising marketing.
  • Possess automotive affinity and enthusiasm for the BILD brand, as well as digital offerings and trends.
  • Have quick comprehension, strong communication skills, and flexibility.
  • Be proficient in creating presentations and comfortable speaking in front of groups.
Good to have:
  • Initial professional experience in a media agency or media company.
  • Additional digital experience in video, mobile, or programmatic marketing.
  • Prior knowledge of existing AdServer systems.

The Automotive team acts as a special interest team with high expertise in the automotive market. The areas of responsibility comprehensively include Marketing & Sales and B2B communication for the brand. The Automotive team manages cross-media marketing and creates marketing topics for media, brand cooperations, awards & events, market research, B2B marketing, and communication.
