Job Description

Wind River is seeking a Member of Technical Staff - Cloud Engineer (Analytics) to accelerate the development of solutions using analytics tools like Elasticsearch and Kibana. The role involves developing high-quality analytics features and test automation, resolving issues, and participating in all aspects of the agile software development process. The ideal candidate will be versatile, thrive in a dynamic environment, and possess strong software engineering skills to contribute to world-class analytics solutions.
Good To Have:
  • Six or more years of professional experience building infrastructure software for highly scalable and distributed systems.
  • Track record of building and delivering mission-critical, 24x7 production software systems.
  • Expertise in Python, Kubernetes, and the ELK stack.
  • Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Must Have:
  • Develop Analytics features with high-quality design and code.
  • Develop test automation as required to delivery high quality code.
  • Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
  • Work as part of a team focused on building world-class analytics solutions.
  • Participate in all aspects of the software development process, plan, design, develop and test, using agile development.
  • Bachelor / Master degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Overall 10+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with Python.
  • 3+ years working directly with the ELK stack.
  • 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design of new and current systems.
  • Experience with containers and cloud-based technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes(k8s), and Helm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop Analytics features with high-quality design and code.
  • Develop test automation as required to delivery high quality code.

QUALIFICATIONS
