Autodesk is seeking a Mid-Market Business Development Representative Manager to lead a team of 6-10 Business Development Representatives. This role is responsible for increasing revenue by managing sales plans and performance for the Business Development organization, guiding teams to identify new sales pipeline and net-new revenue. The manager will lead team activities, including hiring, talent development, team culture, and performance management within a SaaS, ARR, or MRR revenue environment. Key responsibilities include collaborating with internal sales teams, Sales Operations, Marketing, Demand Generation, and Channel partners, directing teams using SMART plans to achieve corporate goals, identifying and implementing strategies for improvement in sales productivity, and reporting on team and individual results.
Must have:
  • 2+ years Inside Sales Management experience (people management)
  • 4+ Years sales experience in inside-sales
Good to have:
  • Experience creating detailed demos tailored to customer pain points
  • Sets a positive tone for the team
  • Works side by side with the team
  • Experience in the D&M industry is a plus

Position Overview

You will report to the Senior Manager of Sales Development. This is a hybrid position, and you will have a combination of onsite and remote work.

 

You must be based in the Denver, CO area.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead a team of 6-10 Business Development Representatives
  • You will increase revenue by managing important plans and sales performance for the Business Development organization by guiding teams to identify new sales pipeline and net-new revenue
  • Lead the activities of a team, including hiring, developing talent, team culture and performance management in a SaaS, ARR, or MRR revenue environment
  • Collaborate with internal Sales Teams, Sales Operations, Marketing, Demand Generation and Channel partners
  • You will direct a team using SMART plans to achieve corporate goals
  • Identify, recommend and implement strategies for improvement in sales productivity
  • Report on team and individual results: pipeline, conversion rates, and quarterly performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years Inside Sales Management experience (people management) or equivalent sales experience
  • 4+ Years sales experience in inside-sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • Do you have experience creating detailed demos that are tailored to customers' pain points? Do you set a positive tone for your team with every word and deed?

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $123,700 and $179,080. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
