We're looking for a skilled Designer/Video Editor to join our creative team. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of graphic design expertise and video editing capabilities. You will be responsible for creating and finishing adaptation content for a variety of platforms, from print and digital advertising to social media and broadcast commercials.
This is a fast-paced environment that demands an exceptional eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to seamlessly transition between design and video projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Production: Create compelling adaptation designs for advertising campaigns, including print, digital, and Out-of-Home (OOH) media.
- Video Editing: Fully adapted content, ensuring all materials meet legal and technical standards for broadcast in various markets.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard post-production platforms to execute projects from concept to final delivery. This includes expertise in video codecs, file-based workflows, and quality control processes.
- Collaboration: Work closely with creative partners (copywriters, art directors, Account Manager) to deliver cohesive, on-brand creative that meets all project specifications and deadlines.
- Problem-Solving: Provide creative and technical solutions to challenges, maintaining a positive attitude under tight deadlines.
- Presentation: Create and present ideas and design concepts in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, including the creation of effective and visually strong decks.
- Asset Management: Manage assigned projects and assets efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to all file management and quality control methods.
- Stay Current: Maintain a superior knowledge of the latest design and video technology, adapting to new software and workflows as they emerge.
Requirements
- Solid experience as both a designer and a video editor within the post-production or advertising industry.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro/After Effects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating a clear eye for design, creative flair, and polished video editing skills.
- Thorough understanding of post-production processes, including color correction, motion graphics, and audio mixing.
- Excellent communication skills and experience with client-attended sessions.
- Exceptional organizational skills, time management abilities, and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as a detail-oriented team player.
- A degree in Graphic Arts, Fine Arts, or equivalent professional experience is required.
