What does a Senior Talent Partner do at Hogarth?
As an expert in the industry, the Senior Talent Partner will recruit exceptional talent for freelance, permanent and FTC roles on one of the agency’s biggest accounts, an iconic tech brand. It’s an awesome team and you will look for great new hires to join them, across a variety of roles for example project management, client services, design, creative, content, operations, finance, etc. You will also work on recruitment projects during quieter hiring times, focused on areas such as ED&I, benchmarking, employer branding, market and competitor analysis.

This role reports to the EU Talent Lead and works closely with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Build great working relationships with hiring managers to ensure you clearly understand the business requirements when recruiting for a role – challenging them where necessary using your recruitment expertise
- Design, build and execute diverse and strategic sourcing strategies for active searches and pipelining.
- With a strong focus on inclusion, you will continuously develop our approach to talent to ensure we are bringing diverse talent into the business. Being an advocate for inclusion is second nature to you.
- Understanding and monitoring the external labour market will be critical to success, being alert to hot spots or scarcity of talent in particular skills areas and considering how our approach could support the team.
- Execute passive candidate sourcing, networking, identifying applicant associations/pools/professional groups and affiliations, websites, Boolean searches, job board mining.
- Provide talent market insights, competitive intelligence, and talent demographics as appropriate to enable the Talent team and hiring managers to be best informed on external market.
- Building and maintaining relationships with a network of talented people and potential candidates for the future is key - there's always a potential if someone is great, we will have a role for them in the future.
- Act as the market expert for defined business areas, provide regular “market” updates to the talent team on market conditions including talent summaries, skill gaps, market developments, technology changes etc.
- Ensure our EVP is compelling through our attraction and selection strategies and our use of advertising and all other channels.
- Utilising and managing social media for direct recruitment – enhancing and developing our Employer Brand.
- Managing offers to candidates and working closely with the HR department to coordinate contracts and start dates (including successfully negotiating salaries)
- Championing candidate experience and making sure candidates get the VIP treatment they deserve.
Requirements
- Extensive recruitment experience within the agency / marketing / creative industry, with experience of recruiting for freelance, permanent and FTC roles
- Demonstrable leadership skills and a role model for the team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with varying volume of roles, often headhunting for hard-to-find candidates for a niche brief.
- Adept face-to-face interviewer, experienced in building rapport and using a mix of competency and behavioural based interviewing.
- Flexibility to work independently and collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders on multiple tasks.
- A critical thinker, able to analyse and interpret data and information to identify pattern, trends, and insights to tell a story.
- Highly technically savvy – able to best utilize appropriate systems, reporting tools, ATS.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills – demonstrable evidence that they can build relationships at all levels of the business, be trusted and known to always act with integrity.
- Organised – structured in approach so that all parts of the recruitment process are recorded effectively, and candidates and colleagues are impressed by the process.
- Proactive nature – happy to be hands on and look for ways to make things happen and improve the way we work.
- Gravitas – a confident communicator who can listen well and influence the conversation.
