Job Description

This Semiconductor Maintenance Technician position at NXP in Chandler involves performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Photo and Metrology equipment, including ASML PAS5500 Scanners, Canon IW Steppers, TEL ACT8/MARK7 Tracks, KLA 8100 SEM, KLA 5100/5200 Overlay Inspection, and KLA Archer. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, along with scheduled maintenance and consumable changes. Candidates need a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, problem-solving, and strong communication skills. An AA/AS/AAS in electronics or industrial engineering, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
Must Have:
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Photo and Metrology equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance and consumable changes.
  • Solid understanding of SPC, 5s, and FDC systems.
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
  • Interface with internal and external groups for safety, performance, and reliability.
  • Complete documentation and train others.
  • Effectively communicate using written and verbal skills.
  • Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and perform physical tasks like stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions.
  • AA, AS, AAS in electronics or industrial engineering related discipline, or equivalent experience/military training.

The candidate(s) selected will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in Chandler Fab Photo equipment area.The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following types: * Photo equipment * ASML PAS5500 Scanners * Canon IW Steppers * TEL ACT8/MARK7 Tracks * Metrology equipment * KLA 8100 SEM * KLA 5100/5200 Overlay Inspection * KLA ArcherThe tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.The position requires working compressed shifts, job openings on either days or nights may be available.### Education:AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.### Experience:Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions is required.
