Job Description

The Semiconductor Maintenance Technician – Etch will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Etch equipment in the Chandler Fab. This includes troubleshooting and repairing electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, as well as performing consumable changes. The role requires a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, and FDC systems, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interface with various groups to ensure safety and reliability. The position involves working compressed shifts and requires physical ability for tasks like stooping, crawling, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Good To Have:

AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred.
Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.

Must Have:

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Etch equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems.
Perform consumable changes.
Understand SPC, 5s, and FDC systems.
Demonstrate problem-solving skills.
Interface with internal and external groups for safety, performance, and reliability.
Complete documentation and train others.
Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12 hours).
Physically able to stoop, crawl in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.
Specific knowledge of semiconductor maintenance job functions.
Experience with Applied Materials Centura MxP/MxP+/SuperE, DPS, DPS II.
Experience with LAM 4420/4520i.
Experience with ULVAC Enviro II, Optima.
Experience with Gasonics 3500 & PEP 3510 Ashers.
Experience with Axcelis/Fusion Gemini DUV Photostabilizers.

The technician position is responsible for effectively executing tasks that are required to maintain primarily the toolsets within the following types:

Applied Materials Centura MxP/MxP+/SuperE
Applied Materials DPS, DPS II
LAM 4420/4520i
ULVAC Enviro II, Optima
Gasonics 3500 & PEP 3510 Ashers
Axcelis/Fusion Gemini DUV Photostabilizers

The tasks include, but are not limited to, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic systems, pneumatic, vacuum, and mechanical systems, scheduled maintenance, consumable changes, and various other activities relevant to the success of the area. The desired candidate should have a solid understanding of SPC, 5s, FDC systems, and demonstrate problem solving skills. The position requires the ability to interface with other internal and external groups to ensure all safety, performance, and reliability requirements are satisfied. The desired candidate will be required to complete documentation and train others.

The desired candidate will be required to effectively communicate using written and verbal skills, stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours), and be physically able to perform required tasks which may include stooping, crawling in confined spaces, and lift/carry objects up to 50 pounds.

The position requires working compressed shifts, job openings on either days or nights may be available.

Education:

AA, AS, AAS, in electronics or other industrial engineering related discipline is preferred. Education along with experience or military training may satisfy formal education requirements.
