Job Description

BESIX Reditec/Soltec, part of BESIX Holding, seeks an experienced HR Business Partner for its Wallonia operations. This generalist role focuses on "soft" HR aspects like onboarding, development, performance, and change management. The HRBP will be the primary HR contact for assigned departments, supporting managers in team management from onboarding to offboarding, advising on operational and strategic HR matters, and ensuring the implementation of HR processes. The role also involves participating in recruitment, supporting change projects, and contributing to continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.

Must Have:
  • Act as the HR point of contact for assigned departments
  • Support managers in managing their teams, from onboarding to offboarding
  • Advise managers on HR issues, both operational and strategic
  • Ensure the operational implementation of HR processes within the monitored entities
  • Participate in recruitment in collaboration with recruiters and external partners
  • Support change projects and initiate actions promoting company culture
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and tools
  • Contribute to transversal projects strengthening the organization
  • Report directly to the Business Line Manager on various HR KPIs
  • Bachelor/Master degree, preferably in Economics, Commercial Sciences, or Law
  • Minimum 5 years in a generalist HR function
  • Excellent command of MS Office and HR applications
  • Solid knowledge of Belgian social legislation
  • Fluent French and English

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (generalist) for our Wallonia location, with a focus on "soft" HR aspects (onboarding, development, performance, absenteeism, change management, etc.).

You will manage a portfolio of employees within several departments of BESIX Unitec. As a privileged interlocutor between the People Team and operational divisions, you will support managers and teams in the execution of HR processes and propose pragmatic HR solutions throughout the employee journey.

Job Description

  • Act as the HR point of contact for assigned departments;
  • Support managers in managing their teams, from onboarding to offboarding;
  • Advise managers on HR issues, both operational and strategic;
  • Ensure the operational implementation of HR processes within the monitored entities;
  • Participate in recruitment in collaboration with recruiters and external partners;
  • Support change projects and initiate actions promoting company culture;
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes, systems, and tools (efficiency);
  • In parallel, contribute to transversal projects strengthening the organization;
  • Report directly to the Business Line Manager on various HR KPIs.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor/Master, preferably in Economics, Commercial Sciences, or Law.

Experience

  • Min. 5 years in a generalist HR function;
  • Experience in the Construction/Electricity sectors is a plus.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Excellent command of MS Office and HR applications (ATS, LMS, eBlox, time tracking systems);
  • Autonomous / independent spirit;
  • Good knowledge of HR management techniques;
  • Solid knowledge of Belgian social legislation;
  • Excellent relational skills and soft skills;
  • Ability to think strategically and align HR initiatives with business objectives;
  • Analytical mind, solution-oriented, team spirit, stress resistance, flexibility;
  • Fluent French and English.
