The mixed-mode digital integrated circuit design team of the Advance Power System department, based in Toulouse, is in charge of developing logic functions for the Power Management of microcontrollers used for secure applications meeting the needs of future autonomous vehicles as well as the ISO26262 safety standard. In this context, the team is required to implement self-test functions to ensure the functional security of the application.

This 6-month end-of-study Master's internship is part of a project to improve our design flow and optimize the associated verification processes. The aim of this internship is to make the design and validation process more efficient, reducing development cycles and improving circuit quality.

Your Responsibilities

The intern will be responsible for some or all of the following tasks:

  • Analysis and optimization of the digital design flow for our PMIC circuits.
  • Participation in the automation of certain steps in the design process, linked to the creation and validation of digital components.
  • Improvement of design verification methodologies, to enhance circuit robustness and reliability.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to integrate solutions adapted to design and verification needs.
  • Document the methods developed and present the results to the technical team.

Your Profile

Level of studies: Last year of electronics engineering school

Knowledge required in:

  • Good understanding of the principles of microelectronics and digital functions
  • Knowledge of System Verilog / Scripting Linux, TCL, Python would be a plus
  • Understanding of verification concepts and flow design
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written in French and English
