Your daily life
Our site, near Rouen, stands out thanks to our visionary design, integration, and installation teams for civil radars. We push the boundaries with cutting-edge microwave sub-assemblies, specially designed for the military domain.
Within the Surface Radars operations department, you will hold the position of Operations and Exploitation Security Manager (RSO / RSE).
As part of strengthening its cybersecurity measures, Thales has chosen to develop RIN; an industrial IT network specially dedicated to all production means.
On this occasion, a new actor (the RSO) is being put in place on each site concerned by the RIN.
The RSO plays a key role in managing the equipment fleet of its site, deploying the RIN, administering, and ensuring the cyber compliance of workstations.
The RSO guarantees the state of its fleet, the exploitation of associated server applications, and the application of cybersecurity protections and its availability for the activity of its site.
As part of the implementation of the RIN, they participate in the development and validation of services made available by SI specialists in coordination with the Cyber team.
They ensure coordination with production/repair to reserve intervention slots and minimize activity disruptions. They also coordinate with equipment development teams to validate modifications to be made to PCs (handling side effects) or even have them carried out.
As Operations Security Manager, your missions will be:
CYBERSECURITY
- Analysis of cybersecurity rules applicable to industrial means, defined by the RSSI, DSI, and Cyber specialists.
- Verification of feasibility (technical, functional) of compliance, participation in solution analyses with Cyber teams, DSI, and Test Bench development teams.
- Declination of Cyber rules to maintenance teams, industrial operators, and also to designers of new means.
- Declination into standards for Business teams and application on industrial means.
MANAGEMENT OF PRODUCTION MEANS PC FLEET
- Establishment of fleet mappings and risk analysis with the cyber specialist for remediation decisions on problematic industrial means.
- Organizes and pilots the backup policy and verifies its implementation (backup, backup, and recovery policy).
INFORMATION SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION FOR THE INDUSTRIAL NETWORK
- Via its T1 and T2 consoles, allowing it notably to connect to the trusted core, for its site:
- Management of user accounts on domains (RIN-IND or RIN-PAT).
- Management of machine accounts.
- Management of security accounts for the filer containing production data.
- Management of filer tree structure (directories and associated rights for users).
- Administration acts on business servers for business needs.
BUILD
- Orchestrates its activities of migration to RIN and cyber securing of workstations according to operational and business priorities, and the needs of its unit.
- Compliance of each PC with cyber rules.
- Migration of means to the secured SI (RIN) according to defined standards and functional acceptance.
- Represents the operational need of the industry for the validation of services with IS/IT.
- Contributes to the capitalization of workstation migration activities by participating in the drafting of standards (Wiki base).
RUN
- Entry point for viral alert management and implementation of remediation actions in coordination with the RSSI.
- Maintenance in operational condition (MCO) and security condition (MCS) of production/repair PC means.
- CMMS intervention for incidents or support.
- Management and validation of KISS requests for the production PC scope.
- Interface with SI and cyber specialists.
- Impact coordinator for the industry during SI interventions (switch & server updates, network outages, cyber remediation...).
