Job Description

As an Operator, you will work with talented individuals at our Thermal Transfer Group business unit to deliver quality products. You will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to fabricate/assemble a wide variety of products, ensuring quality and meeting production standards. You will also be responsible for improving production processes and prioritizing safety. This role involves interpreting fabrication plans, operating various machinery, maintaining records, and using hand tools.
Must have:
  • Interpret fabrication plans and builds products according to plans.
  • Use all company owned methods of operating machinery, i.e., forklifts/trucks, jib cranes, overhead cranes, etc., and must be willing to train and adapt to new systems.
  • Maintain time records and job records as described by supervisor.
  • Ensure work area is kept in a neat and orderly manner.
  • Use fabrication machinery such as Presses, Rolls, Shears, and other moving machinery.
  • Use hand tools such as grinders, sanders, etc.
  • May install insulation on manufactured products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
  • Follow and adheres to all safety rules and topics. Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Must be a team player.
  • Must be able to comprehend, speak and write the English language.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to read and correctly interpret blueprints.
  • Must be able to maintain attendance as defined by the company policy.
  • High School Diploma or related equivalent required.
Good to have:
  • Trade school certificate or related equivalent preferred.

Who will you be working with?

You will work with a broad range of talented individuals to deliver quality products in a timely manner at our Thermal Transfer Group business unit. You’ll work alongside other Operators and Welders and partner with professionals across multiple departments.

As an Operator, you will follow specified work instructions and/or engineering parts drawings to fabricate/assemble a wide variety of products. You will be responsible for the quality of your work, and meeting production standards. You will continually look for ways to improve our production processes and make Safety your #1 priority every day.

You will:

  • Interpret fabrication plans and builds products according to plans.
  • Use all company owned methods of operating machinery, i.e., forklifts/trucks, jib cranes, overhead cranes, etc., and must be willing to train and adapt to new systems.
  • Maintain time records and job records as described by supervisor.

Work Schedule:

Must be able to work multiple shifts if needed.

  • Day Shift: 5:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Thursday
  • Second Shift: 3:30 pm to 2:00 am Monday afternoon thru Friday morning

  • Combination of education and experience will be considered.

Physical Demands and Requirements for this position are:

  • Heavy work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Position requires frequent standing and repetitive use of hands. Bending over, climbing, reaching overhead, kneeling and pushing/pulling are required occasionally.

The hourly entry payrate for this role is $20.00.

The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
