Job Description

The Paid Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing global paid media campaigns across various channels, including digital (social, search, display, video, programmatic), TV, radio, print, and OOH. This role requires a holistic approach to media planning, with a focus on digital-first marketing strategies. The individual will manage campaign execution, budgeting, KPIs, and reporting, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include analyzing consumer insights, competitive trends, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities, contributing to the creation of paid advertising materials, and ensuring timely launches and effective campaigns. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in paid media, proficiency in various advertising platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Marketing Platform), and strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced and detail-oriented Paid Media Manager to join our Global Brand Marketing team. In this role you'll take charge of executing campaigns on a global scale, crafting media plans, setting budgets, and developing effective tactics either in-house or in collaboration with media agencies and various advertising partners. 

This role offers a unique opportunity for a paid media professional to take full ownership of planning and executing our media strategies, essentially serving as the sole architect of our media plans. The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, yet effective at partnering cross-functionally with external and internal stakeholders like brand, creative, community, legal, PR and business development teams.

Daily responsibilities

  • Develops paid media strategies across digital (social, search, display, video, programmatic), TV, radio, print, and OOH. While the role requires a holistic approach to media planning, we are seeking someone with digital-first marketing experience to drive our key objectives.
  • Manages end-to-end campaign execution either hands-on or via outsource, ensuring timely launches, proper budgeting and smart KPIs. Adapts plans based on evolving developments and changing conditions.
  • Collaborates closely with regional marketing managers to factor in unique market characteristics.
  • Leads cooperation with media agencies, advertising partners, retail distributors and mar tech solution providers. 
  • Ensures proper campaign reporting and visualisation in data analytics tools (i.e. PowerBI). 
  • Contributes to the creation process of paid advertising materials, working closely with designers, video editors and copywriters.
  • Analyzes consumer insights, competitive trends, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for paid media innovation and growth. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in paid media roles, either within marketing departments or at agencies.
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads; Google Marketing Platform (especially DV360, CM360) or equivalent is a plus. 
  • Tools proficiency: great knowledge and skills in using GA4, GTM, PowerBI.
  • Solid understanding of advertising strategies and channels to reach and engage consumers. 
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Competency in using Google Suite and/or MS Office.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with a knack for identifying issues and devising efficient solutions.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Experience in the gaming/entertainment industry.
  • Offline paid media experience (i.e. TV, OOH, Radio).
