Role Overview
As a Principal Game Artist with Tripledot Studios, you'll have the chance to impact the visuals of our games. Our studio is recognised for its creativity and success in the casual gaming arena and your role will be crucial in maintaining our edge by delivering compelling design and raising the overall quality bar.
You will be a go-to expert in everything visual and you will help other artists to sharpen their skills and raisethe overall quality of their work
This position is ideal for someone who excels in UI design, can effectively translate concepts into UX flows and final designs, and has a solid understanding of the casual mobile gaming market. You'll own the art production of our existing games and exciting new titles, collaborating with multiple teams dedicated to crafting engaging and visually stunning gaming experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop an appropriate visual style for our games
- Create stunning UI with UX best practices in mind
- Create wireframes, storyboards and mockups
- Create key artwork and optimisable assets
- Lead design discussions with the wider team to ensure alignment with the product vision
- Train other artists by sharing your knowledge and best practices
- Implement designs into Unity, assisted by the in-house technical art team
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- A portfolio showcasing mobile game-related artwork and projects
- Excellence in UI problem solving to allow the best user experience
- Expert knowledge of design software (Figma, Adobe etc.)
- Solid understanding of Unity
- Understanding of the mobile games market, its design styles and trends
- 2D and illustration skills
Nice to have:
- UI animation skills
- 3D skills
- Previous experience with emerging AI tools
