Tripledot is a leading independent mobile games company with a global team across multiple studios. Lion Studios, a subsidiary, specializes in publishing mobile games and helping developers gain worldwide recognition. This role focuses on onboarding and managing external gaming studios, particularly those in the Turkish market. The Senior Studio Manager will identify promising games and studios, guide them through the entire development lifecycle to create innovative mobile titles, conduct market analysis, and ensure product development aligns with Lion Studios' strategy. Collaboration with engineers, designers, and marketers is key to bringing game concepts to life.

Lion Studios
is a mobile games publisher that works with mobile developers to get their games discovered by players around the world. Headquartered in San Francisco, Lion Studios’ creative and strategy teams utilize their expertise to help game developers break through the noise and grow their businesses. 

Since launching in 2018, Lion Studios has driven 90% of its games to the Top 10 in the App Store and Google Play and helped drive 16 games to #1 in the US App Store’s Top Free chart. 

Role Overview

As a key member of the Lion Studios team, you will be responsible for onboarding and managing external gaming studios with a focus on the Turkish market. You will work closely with partner studios to identify promising games, guide them through the full development lifecycle, and ensure the creation of innovative, engaging mobile titles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard and manage gaming studios with diverse game portfolios, focusing on the gaming market in Turkey.
  • Identify promising games and studios in the market, and cultivate strong relationships.
  • Lead the full lifecycle of game development, from ideation to launch, ensuring the creation of innovative and engaging mobile games.
  • Conduct competitive analysis of the mobile gaming landscape, including user behavior and key metrics, to inform the product roadmap.
  • Align product development with Lion Studios’ strategic and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, designers, and marketers to bring game concepts and features to life as an end-to-end product owner.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

  • 4+ years of experience in product management, project management, business development, or a related role within the mobile gaming industry (experience managing gaming studios is a plus)
  • Proven experience leading the ideation and development of new mobile games or apps, from concept through production and launch
  • Strong understanding of the latest trends in mobile gaming
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly organised with strong analytical abilities
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Prior experience in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment
