Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and take ownership of our CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows. In this role, you will design, implement, and optimize pipelines that power our build, test, and deployment processes for mission-critical cloud applications. You will collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and cloud architects to ensure that our delivery process is fast, reliable, and secure. This is a hands-on position where you will have significant influence over our release processes, deployment strategies, and DevOps tooling.
Must have:
  • Architect and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Integrate pipelines with automated testing frameworks for quality assurance
  • Implement security checks, compliance scans, and performance tests as part of the release workflow
  • Work with development teams to improve build speed, reliability, and deployment frequency
  • Support multi-environment deployments (dev, staging, production) with rollback strategies
  • Monitor pipeline performance and troubleshoot issues in real time
  • Advocate for and implement DevOps best practices across the organization

Position Overview

Responsibility

  • Architect and maintain highly available CI/CD pipelines using AWS Code Pipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
  • Integrate pipelines with automated testing frameworks for quality assurance.
  • Implement security checks, compliance scans, and performance tests as part of the release workflow
  • Work with development teams to improve build speed, reliability, and deployment frequency

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years in DevOps, with a focus on pipeline creation and automation
  • Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, CodeBuild, CodePipeline)
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD tools and build orchestration
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or Groovy)
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, AWS CloudFormation)
  • Experience with Docker and container orchestration (Kubernetes or ECS)
  • Strong Git and branching/release strategy experience
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and integrating security into pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway)
  • Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
  • Knowledge of advanced deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary, Rolling)
