Process Technician

The position requires a technical expert who can provide support for cable cutting equipment and tools for low and high voltage harnesses. This person will be the expert with technical knowledge in Cable Cutting machines, Manual Pressing, Pressing Tools, Seal Applicators, and Mechanical Processes. Technical experience in problem-solving and basic statistics is required, as well as helping to meet Safety and Ergonomics goals.

Required Competencies/Skills

Technical studies in Electricity, Electronics, Mechanics, Mechatronics or similar.

Proven experience in low and high voltage harness processes.

Intermediate spoken/written English level

Advanced communication skills

Knowledge in problem-solving methodologies.

Teamwork

Knowledge in PLCs, controls, cable processes, and Pressing Tools.

Leadership and results orientation.

General Functions

Install and release equipment and tools for the manufacture of LV, HV harnesses in accordance with customer requirements and Aptiv's best practices.

Provide technical support for equipment design problems.
