Job Description

As a Producer for Crusader Kings 3 at Paradox Development Studio (PDS) Black, you will be a key part of the project leadership team, driving planning, prioritization, and delivery. Your role involves creating clarity, removing roadblocks, and ensuring deadlines are met by working closely with developers across disciplines. You should have 3+ years of production or project management experience in the games industry, with a strong grasp of agile and scrum methodologies, and proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver live game features or DLC content. Excellent organizational and communication skills are essential.
Must have:
  • Drive cross-discipline production using agile and other methodologies to meet project goals.
  • Collaborate on scope, milestones, and staffing plans with leadership while maintaining schedules and roadmaps.
  • Manage risk and budgets, including tracking issues and overseeing costs and invoices for your development area.
  • Ensure clear communication with stakeholders and maintain up-to-date project tracking in tools like Jira.
  • Foster continuous improvement across the team and contribute hands-on by playing and understanding the game.

At Paradox Development Studio (PDS) Black, we’re pushing the boundaries of Grand Strategy and we’re looking for a Producer to help us chart the course. If you’re passionate about game development and love leading teams through creative and technical challenges, this is your opportunity to directly influence the development of Crusader Kings 3.

What you’ll be doing

As a Producer, you'll be a key part of the project leadership team, driving the planning, prioritization, and delivery of one or more development tracks. Your role is to create clarity and remove roadblocks so the team can focus on making great games. You’ll work closely with developers across disciplines, communicating goals, tracking risks, and ensuring that deadlines are met.
