About the Role:
At CrowdStrike, we are up-leveling our product design capabilities to bring our users the most innovative, effective, and human-centered products they need and deserve. We are seeking a self-motivated and ownership-minded Product Design Producer to be a force-multiplier in our Design Ops and Product Insights team, amplifying our efforts and impact. The Product Design Producer aims to bring cohesion and clarity to design processes across the organization. You should have the ability to empower others by guiding the success of your design colleagues in a cross-product team capacity.

What You'll Do:
Helping to establish, reinforce, and maintain the integrity of design practices across CrowdStrike
Identify and address bottlenecks, pain points, and areas for improvement across the design organization to facilitate cross-product/functional collaboration and connect people
Supporting design research workflows such as scheduling and user recruitment, participant management, tool management, legal and policy governance, and research repository management
Coordinating customer research initiatives through direct scheduling of sessions and communications to all parties involved
Identifying areas for process improvements within the design team and across cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and outcomes
Collaborating with other Product Design Producers and various disciplines to create standards and processes that empower designers to do their best work
Developing and maintaining consumable resources, templates, playbooks, documentation, and training materials
Evaluating and tracking effectiveness of design and research workflows to implement changes that improve processes and produce meaningful impact
Creating alignment between stakeholders and effectively negotiating deliverables and timelines, while reporting outcomes to the leadership team
Proactively identifying and removing barriers that impact design success or team wellbeing
Identifying and creating opportunities for design colleagues to improve their skills and capabilities. This could include - but is not limited to - conducting training sessions, establishing a regular cadence of learning and development activities, and encouraging/organizing participation in design-related education
What You'll Need:
Product design experience and a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle
Exceptional organizational and project management skills with an attention to detail
Excellent problem solving skills. You are able to wade through ambiguity, come up with applicable solutions, iterate, take calculated risks, and learn lessons from setbacks
Strong abilities in several areas of the design process. These might include: requirements gathering/understanding the root cause of problems designers are solving for, workflow definition, interaction design, content strategy, high-fidelity design
Previous user research experience with a track record of democratizing research across organizations at scale
A strong understanding of design principles, practices, and their application throughout the product design lifecycle
Extensive experience working in organizations with varying levels of Product Design maturity, and exposure to different ways of approaching design and knowledge of risks/benefits associated with each approach
The ability to effectively prioritize work based on varying time frames in a fast-paced design environment
Strong communication skills focused on building relationships and fostering collaboration. Able to leverage these skills to both facilitate group discussions and deliver internal presentations
Strong leadership and self-management skills
Achievement and goal-oriented
High level of integrity. You have the determination and resolve to do the right thing for your colleagues and for the users of our products

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $95,000 - $155,000 per year + variable/incentive compensation + equity + benefits.
