Job Description

The Product and Tools Testing Engineer will develop Robotic test cases for Qualcomm Proprietary Camera Artificial Intelligence scenarios. They will develop image processing tools to validate the capabilities of Snapdragon processors and ensure Camera’s Computer Vision capabilities and Image processing hardware are displayed properly. The engineer will perform technical analysis of Qualcomm proprietary Camera AI feature sets, including test development, and first-level stability debug. They will support the Snapdragon premium and value tier product roadmap with new Feature requests and provide test planning, test development, test deployment, and test validation. They will present and discuss the progress of the camera product feature set roadmap and test implementation to technical management. They will develop and test automation of Adjacent technologies with the camera such as Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality. The engineer will triage Camera reported issues in both Ram dumps as well as Android Tombstones using in-house developed log analyzers. They will contribute to the development and improvements of the Automated fixtures within the Camera Laboratory and work with Java and Python programming, Computer Vision API and Development kits, Android Development environment, Unity or Unreal Development engines. They will engage in detailed log analysis, attention to detail, and Software debugging, and communicate and present to a technical audience. They will participate at design reviews and project meetings.

General Summary:

This individual possesses the solid engineering fundamentals and understanding with some supervision in the development of Robotic test cases for Qualcomm Proprietary Camera Artificial Intelligence scenarios. Develop Image processing tools to validate the capabilities of Snapdragon processors that ensure Camera’s Computer Vision capabilities and Image processing hardware are displayed properly. Will accept a Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related degree field.

Pay Range: $101,754.00 - $133,600.00/year
