Job Description
As a Product Data Analyst, you will analyze game economy, player behavior, and conduct in-game studies to identify areas for improvement and monetization growth. You will formulate and test hypotheses, prepare and conduct A/B tests, and make recommendations for changes within the product team. Additionally, you will automate data collection, develop dashboards, and work independently with data to make data-driven decisions. This role requires strong analytical skills, SQL, and a passion for games. Role Overview
- Analysis of game economy, balance, player behavior
- Conducting in-game studies of player behavior to identify weaknesses and monetisation growth points
- Formulating and testing hypotheses for game improvement
- Preparing and conducting A/B tests
- Preparing recommendations for changes and new functionality within the product team
- Automating game data collection and processing.
- Developing dashboards for repeatable reports (Power BI)
Required Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Professional level English and Russian
- Analytics experience of 2 years or more
- Strong SQL skills, python skills
- Experience with databases (preferably ClickHouse, BigQuery)
- Understanding of business and product metrics
- Good knowledge of mathematical statistics and A/B testing methods
- Experience in effective A/B testing
- Ability to work independently with data (from problem definition, querying, processing and visualisation)
- Ability to make decisions based on data and argue them
- Successful experience of implementing your own analytics-based ideas into games or internal products
