Job Description

The Product Planning Coordinator will be responsible for developing and approving the Annual Strategy for NSAM markets, ensuring timely regional and global proposal approval. This role involves analyzing market trends, identifying future product opportunities, and supporting product line strategy through data collection and reporting. The coordinator will also contribute to long-term portfolio guarantees and medium-term planning, requiring strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
Must have:
  • Develop and approve Annual Strategy for NSAM markets.
  • Ensure timely regional and global proposal approval.
  • Analyze and present data for line and powertrain proposals.
  • Identify relevant regional themes and brainstorm new trends.
  • Analyze sociodemographic and generational trends.
  • Propose relevant and innovative future product opportunities.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data for Advanced Planning.
  • Support Medium-Term Plan (MTP) activities.
  • Support PMO CCL for CAFx compliance.
Good to have:
  • Desirable Spanish
  • Desirable experience in Product Planning, Engineering, Product Marketing, Market Intelligence, or similar.
  • Experience in the LATAM region.

Job Details

Responsibilities

  • Annual Proposal: Development and approval of the Annual Strategy for NSAM markets.
  • Ensure correct and timely regional and global approval of the proposal.
  • Support the team in the Regional Seminar and subsequent PSPMs.
  • Analyze and present relevant data and information necessary for the development of line and powertrain proposals.
  • Long-Term Portfolio (LTP) Guarantee: Development and approval of the Annual Strategy for NSAM markets.
  • Identify the most relevant themes in the region. Brainstorm new trends and universal themes across all regions.
  • Analyze sociodemographic and generational trends.
  • Implement exploratory study on market understanding and narratives.
  • Propose relevant and innovative future product opportunities; define a niche with potential to satisfy unmet consumer needs.
  • Product Line Strategy: Collect, analyze, and report data and perform related tasks in support of the following key Advanced Planning functions:
  • Medium-Term Plan (MTP); support the activities of the C[1]Plan Department based on [V][U] results.
  • CAFx CHL and BRA: Support the PMO CCL to meet CAFx requirements based on government protocols.

Knowledge:

  • Availability to travel within Nissan companies worldwide.
  • Computer Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook).
  • Ability to understand, manage, and explain statistical data (market trends, industry size analysis, etc.).
  • Good storytelling development.
  • Good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, good presentation skills in native language and English.
  • Project Management Skills.
  • Excellent planning.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Analytical, objective, data-driven, customer-oriented, adaptable to different cultures and ways of thinking, broad scope of interests, comprehensive vision (cross-functional), passionate about vehicles, highly motivated.
  • Proactive, organized, thrives under pressure, negotiation skills, teamwork, decision-making, and problem-solving.
  • Driver's License.

Experience:

  • Experience in the automotive industry or experience in Program Management in another sector.
  • Desirable experience in Product Planning, Engineering, Product Marketing, Market Intelligence, or similar.
  • Experience in the LATAM region.

Education:

  • Graduation: Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar) or Administration.

Languages:

  • Fluent English (written, reading, and speaking)
  • Desirable Spanish

Location:

  • São Paulo

Work Model:

  • Hybrid

Travel:

  • 20% LATAM/NML region
