Job Description

As a QA Automation Engineer at XBorg, you will focus on improving testing practices, particularly for backend systems. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing End-to-End testing strategies, developing and maintaining reusable test automation frameworks, and reviewing pull requests with a focus on testing quality. You will also establish reliable test data management and environment practices, create documentation for testing processes, and identify opportunities to improve test coverage and efficiency. The role requires close collaboration with the development team to ensure high product quality and improved development velocity.

Must have:

3+ years of QA automation experience.
Strong knowledge of backend testing methodologies, particularly API testing.
Experience setting up and maintaining test automation frameworks.
Proficiency in at least one testing language/framework.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration.

Good to have:

Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, and TypeScript.
SRE experience or knowledge of reliability engineering principles.
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
Frontend testing expertise.
Familiarity with blockchain technology and/or gaming.

The ideal candidate will establish robust End-to-End testing frameworks, improve our automation infrastructure, and ensure reliable releases. You'll work closely with our development team to implement efficient testing processes that maintain high product quality while improving development velocity.
