XBorg seeks a Senior Back-End Software Engineer to build and scale backend systems for high-traffic applications. Responsibilities include architecting scalable and efficient systems, optimizing performance, implementing security protocols, developing and maintaining APIs, and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and TypeScript. A passion for gaming and/or Web3 technologies is preferred. The role involves working on a flagship product used by leading esports teams, contributing to a rapidly growing company in the gaming and Web3 space.

Responsabilities
- Build and Scale Backend Systems: Architect backend systems designed for scalability and efficiency. You’ll work with high traffic and large data sets, so expect to optimize for performance and resilience.
- Optimize and Monitor: Keep a close eye on performance metrics, identifying bottlenecks and continuously improving response times and stability.
- Prioritize Security: Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard both system integrity and data privacy.
- Develop and Maintain APIs: Design APIs that connect our frontend applications with backend logic, focusing on reliability and clarity.
- Diagnose and Resolve Issues: Tackle bugs and technical issues as they arise, with an emphasis on troubleshooting and long-term fixes.
What You Might Bring
- Experience with Nest.js, PostgreSQL, Heroku/AWS, Docker, and Typescript.
- 5+ years of experience in full-time or part-time software development, or you've built your own products/projects as a backend engineer.
- Passion for gaming and/or Web3/decentralized technologies.
