Responsibilities:
- Lead technical integration projects with newly acquired studios, overseeing all aspects from design to successful implementation
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to teams across multiple studios
- Identify and implement improvements to existing codebases and architectures
- Develop high-performance solutions for critical systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation for knowledge transfer
- Drive collaboration between client and backend teams
- Plan and execute refactoring activities to improve code quality and maintainability
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
- Collaborate with studio leadership to define technical roadmaps
- Serve as the focal point for production issues and cross-team technical challenges
- Design and implement efficient testing strategies for high-load systems
- Participate in configuration management and deployment process improvements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience with PHP development
- 3+ years of experience with Java backend development
- Proven experience working with high-load distributed systems
- Strong understanding of database technologies (MySQL/MariaDB, Redis, Memcached, Aerospike)
- Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid understanding of software design patterns and object-oriented programming
- Experience with test-driven development and automated testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (both written and spoken)
Nice to have:
- Experience with gaming industry backend systems
- Knowledge of microservice architecture patterns
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Experience integrating systems across multiple technical environments
- Understanding of data analysis and performance optimization
