Must Have

• Lead VFX design from concept to implementation

• 5+ years VFX Artist experience in mobile gaming
• Strong portfolio of mobile VFX
• Expert in Blender, Spine, Maya, After Effect, Houdini
• Solid understanding of in-game VFX, physics, natural phenomenon
• Adapt styles and maintain artistic consistency
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Experience with Unity or similar engines
• Familiarity with AI tools usage

As a VFX Artist, you’ll take a leading role in crafting visually stunning effects for a new growth initiative within Playtika. You’ll collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and developers to define the look and feel of all effects, ensuring appealing, exciting, and rewarding visual feedback to support gameplay and boost player engagement and retention. What You’ll Do

• Lead VFX design from concept to final implementation, creating engaging and rewarding player experiences.
• Design visually appealing effects that align with the art direction and brand identity.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, artists, and developers to ensure seamless integration of those effects
• Create a library of effects for research and/or future implementations.
• Work closely with the art director to maintain visual consistency and improve the overall aesthetic quality.
• Optimize effects for different screen resolutions and mobile platforms.
• Stay up to date on effects found in casual mobile games and other platforms while continually pushing for innovation and excellence.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience as a VFX Artist or similar role in the mobile gaming industry (casual games experience highly preferred).
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality VFX for mobile titles from concept to final in-game execution.
• Expert in either Blender, Spine, Maya, After Effect, Houdini, and other design tools.
• Solid understanding of in-game VFX, physics and natural phenomenon, to create outstanding and resonant visual feedback.
• Ability to adapt styles and maintain artistic consistency across different features and events.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills you thrive in a small, fast-moving team.
• Experience working closely with developers and familiarity with implementation constraints in Unity or similar engines.
• Familiarity with AI tools usage

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Unity UI workflows.
