The Quality Final Assembly supervisor has the responsibility to ensure that all customer and Aptiv requirements are in compliance within final Assembly area processes, comply 100% with customer specific requirements, control plan execution and PFMEA update.
Must have:
  • Ensure proper administration of the quality inspectors and improve resources available.
  • Ensure proper follow up for the product audit at Final Assembly areas.
  • Ensure proper follow up for process audit and LPA’s audits in Final Assembly areas.
  • Ensure control of non-conforming product, rework process and disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Ensure corrective action implementation and follow up for internal and external complaints.

Your Role:

  • Ensure proper follow up for process audit and LPA’s audits in Final Assembly areas.
  • Ensure control of non-conforming product, rework process and disposition of nonconforming product.
  • Ensure corrective action implementation and follow up for internal and external complaints.

Your Background:

  • Quality Control – Demonstrated expertise in implementing and maintaining quality assurance protocols to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Standardized Work – Proficient in developing, documenting, and enforcing standardized work procedures to drive consistency and efficiency across operations.
  • Structured Problem Solving – Skilled in applying methodologies such as 8D, A3, or root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex issues systematically.
  • Control Plans – Experienced in creating and managing control plans to monitor and maintain product and process quality throughout the production cycle.
  • Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) – Adept at conducting PFMEAs to proactively identify potential process risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • 5S Methodology – Strong knowledge and application of the 5S workplace organization system to enhance productivity, safety, and operational excellence.
  • Product and process Audits – Proficient in conducting thorough product audits to verify compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Non-Conforming Product Control – Competent in managing non-conforming products, including identification, segregation, disposition, and corrective action implementation.
  • Layered Process Audits (LPAs) – Skilled in implementing and managing LPA systems to drive accountability and continuous improvement at all organizational levels.
  • Full Process Understanding – BOP, BOT – Comprehensive knowledge of the complete manufacturing process, including Build of Process (BOP) and Build of Tooling (BOT).
  • Customer Complaint Response – Experienced in investigating and responding to customer complaints with a focus on root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions.
  • Look Across/Best Practice Sharing – Proactive in identifying and sharing best practices across departments or sites to foster continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
