The Role

We’re looking for a Recruiting Lead to help lead and scale our recruiting efforts across Rain, with particular focus on our Go-To-Market (GTM) hiring.

From day one, you’ll manage and coach an Associate Recruiter, you’ll build scalable recruiting processes, and you’ll shape Rain’s talent strategy. As a player-coach, you will both drive strategy and directly manage key searches, including occasional executive-level searches. You are someone with strong ownership and an unstoppable bias for action. People turn to you for advice and trust you to guide them in their biggest decisions. This role is perfect for someone who has learned best practices at larger tech companies but thrives in the pace and scrappiness of a scaling startup. And who is resourceful, persistent, and motivated by the impact that great hiring has on the success of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, upscale, and manage Rain’s recruiting across all departments and roles, with special focus on Go-To-Market roles (i.e., AEs, BDRs, RevOps).
  • Partner with hiring managers and execs to define roles and relentlessly pursue top talent.
  • Build and maintain world-class pipelines through sourcing, networking, and creative strategies.
  • Manage, coach, and grow an Associate Recruiter.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve scalable recruiting processes and reporting systems that enable Rain to hire efficiently during hypergrowth.
  • Leverage AI-enabled recruiting tools, ATS and CRM platforms, and data-driven analytics to source, assess, and maintain world-class candidate pipelines.
  • Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive hiring approach.
  • Strengthen Rain’s employer brand and candidate experience.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience, with a track record of hiring GTM roles in B2B SaaS (e.g., Account Executives, Marketing, Channel Sales, BDRs, etc.)
  • Experience in both large tech companies and scaling startups.
  • Experience implementing pre-hire assessments.
  • A closer’s mentality - you love winning talent in competitive markets.
  • High ownership drive - you see what needs to be done, and you make it happen.
  • Experience managing and developing recruiting talent.
  • Proven ability to design and scale recruiting processes and leverage AI-enabled tools, ATS/CRM platforms, and data-driven analytics to deliver consistent hiring outcomes in high-growth environments
  • Business savvy - you can partner with leaders and influence decisions.
  • Passion for building diverse, high performing teams.
