The Retail Engineering - Mobile team is seeking an experienced Release Engineer. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management abilities to plan, coordinate, and execute regular scheduled releases, including those for special Apple events. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure releases are efficient, timely, and incident-free. Responsibilities include taking ownership of release cycles related to operations and CI/CD pipelines, and leveraging Git knowledge to ensure timely branch cuts and seamless auto-merging.

Job Details
The Retail Engineering - Mobile team is looking for an experienced Release Engineer. You will combine your technical experience with project management skills as you plan, coordinate, and execute regular scheduled releases along with Apple special events. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key to keeping our releases flowing, on time, and without incident. You will also take ownership of release cycles as they relate to operations and our CI/CD pipelines. Using your knowledge of all things Git, you will make sure branches are cut on time and auto-merging happens flawlessly.
