The Renewal Account Manager at Trellix is responsible for managing contract renewals and upsell opportunities with existing customers in a designated territory. This role involves ensuring product and technical requirements are met, proactively addressing client issues, and maximizing contract renewal value. The manager will collaborate with internal sales and technical support teams, drive customer conversations, and identify risks to achieve revenue targets and high customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain strong product knowledge of Trellix's offerings.
  • 6-8+ years of technology, product, or business development experience.
  • Proven track record of achieving/overachieving sales quota.
  • Disciplined time, account, and territory management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin (speaking, reading, writing).
  • Basic Excel reporting skills.

Role Overview

Responsible for working with existing customers to ensure product and technical requirements are met. Works closely with CSM and Field Sales to proactively address Client issues and maximize potential value of contract renewals.

The Renewal Account Manager at Trellix will be a results-driven, self-starter with a consultative sales nature who can truly enable the growth of their sales career in the hottest market sector – security software. You will manage a geographically designated book of commercial business and will be responsible for revenue delivery. As a Renewal Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for managing contract renewals and upsell opportunities with existing customers. Your role will involve providing tailored security solutions to meet customer needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. You will closely collaborate with internal sales teams and technical support teams to facilitate a smooth contract renewal process.

About the Role

  • You will be fully responsible for the renewal business in an assigned territory.
  • Drive meaningful customer conversations and engagements to achieve positive business outcomes.
  • Programmatic and structured approach to quoting and closing renewal opportunities.
  • Understand policies and processes to better improve time to deal with closure.
  • Partner with Sales and channel partners to do deal reviews and work on renewal opportunities.
  • Participate in regular forecasting calls and devise plans to overachieve targets.
  • Identify risks of renewals and work with account teams and cross-functional groups to perform risk mitigation or escalate as needed.
  • Product Knowledge – Through constant learning and solutions enablement training, always increase your understanding of Trellix's full product and services suite of offerings.
  • Sales Team Support - continuously share information with team and manager, works with other departments including channel, follow company policies and values, and can balance short and long-term goals

About You

  • Your background includes 6-8+ years of technology experience, product, or business development. Security Software industry experience is an absolute plus.
  • Your passion for identifying and selling additional sales opportunities is evident per your proven record of accomplishment of success (consistently achieve/overachieve quota).
  • Your disciplined time management, account management and territory management skills, as well as excellent verbal, and written communication skills, all contribute toward your success.
  • You are energized by creating new business opportunities.
  • Must be self-motivated, persistent and be able to drive for success to deliver above sales goals.
  • Strong presentation skills both internally and externally.
  • Ability to learn quickly and think analytically.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading and writing in both English and Mandarin and/or any other Asian languages.
  • Basic excel reporting skills
