Job Summary
Job Description
The Resettlement Associate assists caseworkers and job developers to provide case management and employment services to newly arrived refugees and other eligible immigrants through the Matching Grant program. This position involves assisting clients with benefits navigation, providing coaching and instruction to enhance their independent navigation of community systems and resources, offering transportation to job interviews and trainings, supporting interview preparation and resume creation, conducting well-being check-ins, and maintaining case files, case notes, and data entry.
Must have:
- Associate degree in social work or related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and some experience in data management
- Valid driver’s license, regular access to vehicle, and ability/willingness to drive clients to appointments
- Flexible schedule for occasional work during early mornings, late evenings or weekends
- Commitment to the mission, vision, and values of World Relief
- Christian faith

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Resettlement Associate assists caseworkers and job developers to provide case management and employment services to newly arrived refugees and other eligible immigrants through the Matching Grant program. This is a full time, temporary position for 90 days.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist clients to navigate benefits through the Department of Social Services
- Provide coaching and instruction to assist clients to increase proficiency in independent navigation of community systems and resources
- Provide transportation to clients as needed to attend job interviews, trainings, etc.
- Assist with interview preparation, resume creation and job coaching
- Provide financial literacy and budget coaching
- Conduct well-being check-ins for clients
- Conduct ongoing administrative duties including maintenance of case files, case notes and data entry.
