As a member of the Financial Reporting & Controls team, you will be responsible for providing accurate financials, building our financial infrastructure, and ensuring smooth operations as we scale. Our team works closely with cross-functional partners including Sales, Business Technology, and Product to support Miro's rapid growth and evolving business model while maintaining the highest standards of financial accuracy and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative team and make an immediate impact at a rapidly growing organization.
Miro is experiencing rapid growth with increasingly complex revenue streams, and we need a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead our revenue accounting function through this exciting scale. Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Accounting & Operations, you'll oversee month-end close activities for revenue and accounts receivable, manage audit processes, and lead a growing team of revenue accountants.
You'll be one of the key leaders building scalable processes, implementing robust controls, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition across our diverse SaaS offerings. A critical part of this role involves establishing billing and revenue frameworks to support new product launches and evolving business models.
Beyond technical expertise, we need someone with strong leadership skills who can influence cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and communicate complex accounting concepts to non-finance stakeholders. You should thrive in ambiguous situations, have exceptional analytical skills to navigate large datasets, and maintain meticulous attention to detail while seeing the bigger strategic picture.
The ideal candidate will be energized by the opportunity to build something from the ground up, lead a team through rapid change, and directly impact our financial operations as we continue scaling globally.
Please note, we are open to remote East Coast (Eastern Time Zone) U.S. based candidates for this role.
The reasonably estimated salary range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations. The range for this role is $116,000 to $152,250. Final compensation and total package components will be based on individual factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
