Job Description

---------------

We are now looking for you – an engaged and ambitious road planner, project manager, or design group leader who wants to challenge themselves in small and large projects that contribute to a greener future.

As an employee with us, you will play an important role in this work, both in meeting our clients and as a valuable part of the project teams that develop future transport solutions. You will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience in a large and interdisciplinary professional environment that stretches from Porsgrunn in the south to Alta in the north. Rambøll plays a key role in a number of significant projects, both nationally and locally, and we see increasing awareness and demand for sustainable solutions in all our projects.

If this sounds like you – or you become curious – this could be your perfect opportunity.

Your New Position

As our new road planner, project manager, or design group leader, you will become part of a large and highly multidisciplinary division with around 170 employees spread across the country. Our assignments vary in both size and complexity, including everything from large national road and rail projects to more local assignments in cities and towns. You will get to work with a wide range of tasks, spanning from complex issues in urban environments to larger developments and total contracts. You will have the opportunity to follow projects through various stages, from early phases with municipal and zoning plans, to detailed planning phases, follow-up during construction, and inspections of completed facilities.

Our clients include the Norwegian Public Roads Administration, Nye Veier, Avinor, the Norwegian Armed Forces, county municipalities and municipalities, Norwegian and foreign contractors, as well as other public and private clients. This provides us with unique variation and breadth in projects, where we work closely with both public clients and private clients to develop future sustainable solutions.

What will be your main tasks?

With us, you will, among other things, work with:

  • Project management, design group leadership, professional responsibility, or design in various phases and projects
  • Project follow-up in the execution phase
  • Market and tender work
  • Relationship building with clients and skilled colleagues

You will have the opportunity to influence which tasks you spend most time on, and the direction you wish to develop in. Our varied portfolio allows you to work with many different things, or choose to specialize in one or more fields. At Rambøll, we solve exciting and varied tasks in close collaboration with a broad professional environment – both locally, nationally, and internationally. We have a culture characterized by great openness, a low threshold for professional discussions, and a high degree of knowledge sharing. Together, we deliver on the promises we have made to our clients.

Who are you?

At Rambøll, our employees are our most important resource, and your professional development is crucial for our success. From day one, you will receive support to further develop yourself. We would like to see that you have:

  • Engineering education at bachelor's or master's level
  • Experience in road, construction, and traffic planning
  • Interest or experience in design and consulting
  • Good collaboration skills and preferably experience from the public or private sector

We are also looking for someone who is good at communicating and collaborating with clients, partners, and colleagues. If you like to take responsibility and perhaps have experience with total contracts, that is a great advantage. We need designers, project managers, and design managers.

We are looking for colleagues across the country, if you are interested in hearing more about Rambøll and the opportunities you can get with us, we hope to see your application!
