Rambøll in Aarhus is seeking a skilled Road Engineer to join their team working on exciting road and traffic projects, ranging from large national motorways to local road and path networks. The role involves taking responsibility and developing through diverse projects, collaborating with colleagues across departments and countries. The ideal candidate will contribute to creating sustainable solutions that prioritize traffic safety, accessibility, functionality, and aesthetics.

You will be part of our Road and Traffic Department in Aarhus

We are a department consisting of 30 highly competent colleagues who work with large and small traffic, road, and construction projects throughout Denmark and for our international clients. Our department in Aarhus collaborates with Rambøll's other road departments across the country, as well as with our neighboring departments at home and abroad – within sustainability, drainage, structures, traffic and urban planning, ports and airports, and railways.

As our new road engineer, you will become part of a professionally strong environment, and you will be involved in a wide range of different projects from large motorway projects to smaller intersection reconstructions and cycle paths. All projects are solved through interdisciplinary collaboration and open dialogue with a high level of professional development and responsibility.

Your most important tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Technical leadership or design management of road and construction projects.
  • Assisting project management on smaller road and construction projects.
  • Coordination of the design task with designers from other parts of Rambøll's organization.
  • Dialogue with clients and stakeholders on the projects.
  • Design of road and path projects in 2D and 3D.
  • Quality assurance and professional sparring on road technical solutions.
  • Calculation of quantities and preparation of tender documents.
  • Reporting on projects.
