As a Compliance Consultant at Rambøll Management Consulting, you will join a dedicated team focused on data protection and information security. Your role involves ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation in an international environment, particularly assisting German colleagues. You will contribute to maintaining internal policies, procedures, and documentation, participate in compliance program controls, and advise on data protection legal matters. Good To Have:
  • Experience with or knowledge of ISAE3000 and/or ISO27001
  • Experience with or knowledge of the EU AI Regulation, NIS2 Directive, and/or DORA Regulation
  • Professional level German language skills (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge of German business culture
Must Have:
  • Contribute to maintaining internal policies, procedures, and processes for data protection
  • Prepare and maintain documentation (records, risk assessments, etc.)
  • Maintain Rambøll Management Consulting's audit statement (ISAE3000)
  • Advise German colleagues on data protection legal issues and data processing agreements
  • Participate in activities to ensure the compliance program functions optimally
  • Participate in internal audits and supervision of data processors
  • Relevant educational background (e.g., social science, information science, law, communication, IT)

If that sounds like you, this could be the role for you. Become part of Rambøll Management Consulting's compliance team as our new Compliance Consultant and help us maintain our high standards for data protection and information security.

About the role

You will be part of a team consisting of dedicated colleagues with backgrounds in compliance and data protection. Here, you will contribute to ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation internally in a company that works to create a sustainable future, and where we strive to set the standard for our industry with inspiring projects and innovative solutions.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Maintenance of a solid compliance setup within data protection: You will contribute to the maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and processes for data protection, the preparation and maintenance of documentation (records, risk assessments, etc.), and the maintenance of Rambøll Management Consulting's audit statement (ISAE3000) in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • Advisory and sparring in dialogue with colleagues in Denmark and Germany: You will primarily help our German colleagues with data protection legal questions and the handling of data processing agreements.
  • Control of the compliance program: You will participate in activities associated with ensuring that our compliance program functions optimally, including participating in internal audits and supervision of data processors.
  • AI, NIS2, DORA: Depending on your profile and interests, there will be an opportunity to contribute to compliance initiatives within the AI Regulation, NIS2 Directive, and DORA Regulation.

About you

We imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant educational background. This could, for example, be within social science, information science, law, communication, IT, or similar.
  • Have experience with or interest in compliance, governance, data protection, or certification schemes.
  • Are thorough and structured.
  • Have strong communication skills.

It will be a big plus, but not a requirement, if you:

  • Have experience with or knowledge of ISAE3000 and/or ISO27001.
  • Have experience with or knowledge of the EU AI Regulation, NIS2 Directive, and/or DORA Regulation.
  • Can speak and write German at a professional level and possibly have knowledge of German business culture.

You are good at communicating complex topics in an understandable way, and you are good at finding solid and constructive solutions to complex challenges.
