Job Description

In this role, you will develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships by understanding their business needs and offering tailored value propositions for Philips' Ultrasound technology (Cardiovascular, General Imaging, and POC). You will be responsible for building effective relationships at all levels, ensuring customer satisfaction post-order, and providing consultative solutions. Your role involves developing strategies to achieve business growth targets within your assigned territory, coordinating with logistics and project managers for timely installations, and negotiating deals that satisfy both customers and Philips.

  • Continuing communication with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns.
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way while meeting their needs.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Ensuring order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers.
  • Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips.
  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in hospital capital sales.
  • Radiology, Ultrasound and/or Diagnostic Imaging sales experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Canadian work authorization is a precondition of employment.
  • Must reside in one of the Atlantic Provinces.

  • Once an order is closed, continuing communication with the customer to ensure high customer satisfaction while addressing any concerns.
  • Understanding customer requirements and providing solutions in a consultative way while meeting their needs.
  • Developing and owning strategies for customers within assigned territory that will achieve business growth targets.
  • Ensuring order processing, architectural service, construction, and shipment schedules to equipment installation are orderly and timely by communicating with logistics and project managers.
  • Negotiating solutions and closing deals by reaching agreements with mutual satisfaction to Customers and Philips.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent education/experience.
  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in hospital capital sales.
  • Your skills include Radiology, Ultrasound and/or Diagnostic Imaging sales experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, preferred.
  • You’re a super engaging, charming, hard worker.

How we work together:

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

This is a field role.

Philips Transparency Details:

The pay range for this position is $70,000 to $110,000 plus company/fleet car. The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, DC Pension, Flex Dollars (for HSA/PSA/RRSP), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
