Job Description

The Sales Administrative Assistant supports the Sales Vice President and Leadership Team by handling a high volume of administrative tasks and Federal Customer order support. This role demands strong organizational, communication, and detail-oriented skills to interact with customers, partners, and internal teams. Key responsibilities include managing calendars, coordinating meetings, preparing reports, assisting with expenses, and ensuring office efficiency, all while maintaining accountability and commitment to delivery.
Must have:
  • Supporting and managing a high-volume of requests and projects
  • Coordinate and manage ops reviews, in-person staff meetings, and other events
  • Managing ad-hoc meeting requests and solicitation calls on behalf of the VP
  • Proactively managing the calendar of the VP and coordinating with direct staff
  • Supporting strategic communications and all other special projects as assigned
  • Preparing and editing correspondence, presentations, reports, and memos
  • Compiling and editing weekly briefing reports from each region
  • Coordinating proposal and contract documentation for signatures and legal approvals
  • Tracking and issuing payments for 3rd party resources
  • Running internal metric reports from sales tools and issuing to appropriate personnel
  • Assisting local leaders with expense reports and booking travel
  • Miscellaneous administrative business functions
  • Ensuring office efficiency
  • Assist order management team when additional capacity is required
  • Enter and track Federal Customer Credit Card orders to completion

Job Description

The Sales Administrative Assistant professional is a key contributor to the success of the Sales Vice President and Sales Leadership Team, offering essential administrative and Federal Customer order support. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, a sharp eye for detail, and strong communication abilities to effectively engage with customers, partners, suppliers, and internal teams. Our highest priority is accountability and delivery of commitments.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and managing a high-volume of requests and projects
  • Coordinate and manage ops reviews, in-person staff meetings, and other events

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • OR 10+ years of administrative experience
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills along with a high level of diplomacy, discretion, and problem solving ability; Will interact daily with various levels of management
  • Project management and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills with emphasis on windows based applications
  • Must possess exceptional presentation skills
  • Experience using problem identification and objection resolution skills

Location and Travel Requirements

  • Preferred candidates will live in Alpharetta, GA
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Target Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 USD

Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
