Job Description

As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a key role in identifying and generating new business opportunities for CrowdStrike within the cybersecurity industry. You will be responsible for prospecting, conducting high-level discovery calls with potential clients, and effectively communicating the value of CrowdStrike's solutions. This includes collaboration with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute sales strategies. The role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity and SaaS products, and the ability to overcome objections. You will need to stay informed about the competitive landscape and provide exceptional customer service, including escalation and coordination of support issues.
Must have:
  • IT industry experience (SaaS) in inside sales or new sales.
  • Experience in outbound activities, including cold calling.
  • Experience exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to quickly understand and learn new technologies.
  • Competitive and team player.
  • Excellent presentation skills (in-person/online).
Good to have:
  • Experience in security/SaaS.

  • インバウンド・アウトバウンドの活動を通じた新規ビジネスの創出

  • セールスチームやマーケティングチームと連携し、担当テリトリーにおける新規営業活動方針の立案と実践

  • 経営層を含むセキュリティ責任者に対するハイレベルなディスカバリーコールの実施

  • クラウドストライク製品の価値訴求およびオブジェクションハンドリングの実施

  • 電話、メール、SNSなどのチャネルを活用したマーケット開拓

Experience Skills and Qualifications:

  • IT業界(SaaS)においてインサイドセールス経験もしくは新規営業経験

  • コールドコールを含めたアウトバウンド活動の経験

  • ターゲットを上回る実績を出した経験

  • 営業活動のプランニング、実践、改善のための振り返りを自ら実施した経験

  • 新しい技術や知識を速やかに理解し、学習する力

  • 競争心を持ちながらもチームプレイヤーであること

  • 優れたプレゼンテーションスキル(対面/オンライン)

  • セキュリティ/SaaS経験があれば尚可

About the Role:

Become an insider within the Cyber Security Industry and become an expert at expert of CrowdStrike products.

What You'll Do:

  • Actively engage our prospective customers to identify new opportunities for CrowdStrike over the phone 

  • Run a sophisticated Sales process from Prospecting to Closure.

  • Discover and drive new business opportunities within mid-market and Enterprise accounts

  • Conduct high level discovery calls with the C-suite and their VPs

  • Become a cyber security expert and thought leader

  • Earn a black belt in competitive selling and objection handling

  • Collaborate with marketing and channel partners to execute on a successful go-to-market strategy

  • Provide exceptional and high touch customer service, including escalation and coordination of support issues as needed.

  • Stay well educated and informed as to the CrowdStrike competitive landscape and how to sell the value of our solutions and services when compared to the relevant competitors in the Next Generation Endpoint market space. 

What You'll Need:

  • Telephone Sales experience

  • Track record of exceeding expectations

  • Cold Calling experience (not tech, SaaS, or Security specific).

  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new business and technical concepts quickly.

  • Competitive nature, but also a collaborative team player.

  • Strong presentation skills, both in person and via virtual channels.

  • Customer Service background a plus. 

  • Security and/or SaaS Sales experience a plus.

  • Persistent – Doesn’t stop at “no”.  Believes they can overcome.

  • Coachable - Seeks help; knows how to get help, when to ask for it and what situations call for it.

  • Charismatic - knows how to use it.

  • Sharp/Quick Witted - thinks on their feet. Flexibility to handle a curveball.

  • Creative – Can think outside the box (when appropriate).

  • Motivated - to learn, to succeed, to win, to grow.

  • Aptitude - Able to learn and implement new concepts quickly.

  • Confidence with absence of Ego.

  • Self-Disciplined - Proven to be good at time management, organization, and demonstrate discipline in their process and everyday business.

  • Self-aware – Has a solid understanding of their strengths and weaknesses and what they need to work on.
